A renowned Paralympic medalist and triathlete will be in Philadelphia for this weekend's Bike MS: City to Shore ride.
But he also has a very moving story to tell.
John Maclean is now walking again, despite a devastating spinal injury nearly 30 years ago.
Maclean suffered a broken back after he was hit by a truck in 1988 and was left wheelchair bound.
Always an athlete, he learned how to compete using a wheelchair.
Maclean is now learning to walk again through therapy, a feeling he thought he'd never know again.
He is the first person in a wheelchair to compete in the Ironman World Championship, and to swim the English Channel.
Maclean will ride in this weekend MS: City to Shore, 80 mile bike ride on an unaltered bike.
