Wizard World Philly Comic Con is back!

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Call S.H.I.E.L.D! The Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con is back!

You never know who you'll see walking around at Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con, from tiny super heroes to grown-ups who go full out to dress up like their favorite characters.

Nicole Barbour-Allen of Schnecksville, Pa. and her young son were both enjoying the convention.

"It caters to everybody. It's for the ones who are diehard comic fans, but it's also good for him who watches it on TV and loves the costumes," Barbour-Allen said.

"If you want to come and meet some of your favorite celebrities, you want to meet some of your favorite comic book artists, comic book creators, great exhibitors, that's what Comic Con is," Wizard World CEO John Macaluso said.

You can shop for everything from comic books to t-shirts to weapons. But that's the beginning.

At Wizard World, you can do things you always wanted to do - like ride in the Batmobile!

You can also try out the hoverboard on the "Back to the Future" DeLorean.

The couple who built it donates the proceeds from photo feeds to Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's charity.

And fans can also get interact one-on-one with celebrities like the Incredible Hulk himself Lou Ferrigno.

"The beauty is the fact that these people support me in the box office and they watch my TV show and every generation embraces the Hulk. I enjoy people walking away with a smile on their face," Ferrigno said.

Another star, Philly's own David Boreanaz, has been meeting fans at events like this since he was on Buffy the Vampire slayer in the late 1990s.

"This one in particular it's great to be home, my hometown, it's Philadelphia. They get a chance to meet you and spend a little time with you. My favorite part is always the questions and answers, it's a seminar where they come and ask you questions about the business," Boreanaz said.

On Friday, members of the Action News team will be at Wizard World signing autographs, as well.

This year year Wizard World has partnered up with the 1980's film and music festival known as The Awesome Fest.
