Man struck in Darby hit-and-run; driver sought

DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Delaware County officials are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a man in Darby.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street near Summit Street.

Police say a man was struck by a vehicle at that location, which took off and did not stop.

The victim was taken Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police are working to obtain a description of the striking vehicle.
