2 mothers overdose on heroin with infants in backseat

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WPVI) -- Two Florida women overdosed on heroin in an SUV with their infant babies in the backseat.

Police said one of the women managed to call 911 before they both became unconscious.

According to authorities, the women met in rehab while pregnant.

The 1-month-old and 2-month-old babies were turned over to family members after their mothers were arrested.

The women are now charged with child neglect.
