TINICUM TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Two suspected robbers are in police custody after leading authorities on a chase through Delaware County.

Police say the suspects were wanted for robbing T-Mobile store at 184 Penn Mart Court in New Castle, Delaware.

According to police, they entered the store, implied they had a weapon, then made off with cell phones and iPads.

The suspects were on I-495 when they began to be chased by police.

The chase primarily traveled along northbound I-95 through Marcus Hook, Chester, Prospect Park, Essington, Ridley Park and into Tinicum.

The chase came to an end around 8:20 p.m. Thursday in the economy lot at Philadelphia International Airport.

Police say the suspects' black Mercedes sustained a flat tire as they exited I-95 at exit 291.

The flat tire forced them to flee on foot.

One of the two men was apprehended in the economy lot; the other was taken into custody nearby.

Officers from several municipalities aided in the apprehension.
