Officials: Device set off fire in Prospect Park, Delaware County

PROSPECT PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- A fire that damaged a home in Prospect Park, Delaware County was the apparent work of an arsonist, officials say.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of 14th Avenue.

Investigators tell Action News it appears someone tossed a device onto the side of the house setting off the fire.

Everyone inside the home was able to make it out safely.

The fire marshal is continuing to investigate.
