SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- For the first time this season, Eagles fans were allowed inside the Linc on Tuesday to get a first-hand look at training camp.

The gates opened around 10 a.m. and thousands of fans streamed into the stadium.

There are plenty of new faces, and missing faces, on the field.

Gone are LeSean McCoy, Nick Foles, and Jeremy Maclin, while Sam Bradford, DeMarco Murray and Kiko Alonso are now suiting up in midnight green.

Many of the fans we talked to were confident the Eagles would make the playoffs this year.

"Go Birds! I'm so excited! I can't wait," said Darlene Owens of Laurel Springs.

Dave Coles of Elmer, N.J. said he's excited to see what happens now that head coach Chip Kelly has more control.

"I like everything he did. The reason I like it is - this is his team. He's controlling everything, he's getting the respect that all the coaches should have," Coles said.

John Orobono of Feasterville has his eye on one position in particular.

"Running backs. Can't wait to see them," he said. "I think Chip is a running guy, so it's going to be interesting."

The team is also celebrating the legends of the franchise with Eagles Alumni Day.
