Local student choir prepares to sing for Pope Francis

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Students from Nazareth Academy High School will help serenade Pope Francis during his masses this weekend.

Four students from the school in Northeast Philadelphia have been selected as part of the high school choir.

One of them, Victoria Sanchez, actually sang for Pope Benedict in Rome during her freshman year.

"The feeling you have when you're in that presence is like no other to be able to experience that again is something so extraordinary, something we're never going to experience again, and it's amazing," said Sanchez.

The school's choral director and assistant choral director will also be taking part in this weekend's masses.
