$85,000 in grants awarded to 21 N.J. charities aimed at helping children

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. - More than a dozen charities in New Jersey have received grants to give children safe and affordable summer experiences.

OceanFirst Foundation of Toms River awarded $85,000 in grants to 21 charities Thursday morning.

The charities include the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League, the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City, and the Ocean City Arts Center.

The grants will allow the charities to give camp scholarships of up to $250 per child.
