PHILADELPHIA - An AccuWeather Alert has been issued until 4am for heavy downpours and potential flash flooding. This is in effect for areas south and west of Philadelphia with a Flash Flood Watch in effect.
TONIGHT: Clouds, drizzle, showers, and a chilly NE wind. Any heavy downpours in south NJ and DE will need watching for flash flooding. Otherwise, most of the area the flood threat is over. Lows in the 50s.
MEMORIAL DAY: Early morning clouds and drizzle will give way to some afternoon sunshine. The faint sun will return from the north to the south. Northern areas early afternoon, southern areas and the shore last very late in the day. It is much less humid and much more comfortable throughout the day. High 73.
TUESDAY: The sun is back along with the heat and humidity. It will feel very uncomfortable with feels like temps in the 90s. High 89.
WEDNESDAY: A cold front will slide through and a drier wind sets in. This will bring sun and clouds and more comfy temps. High 79.
THURSDAY: Hazy sun and turning humid once again. A shower or thunderstorm is possible late. High 80.
FRIDAY: Lots of sunshine, very warm, and humid. High 86.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: A very typical summer pattern with haze and humidity. The temps will be slightly cooler than Friday, but the humidity could spark a downpour or storm. High 77.
