PHILADELPHIA - Clouds thickened ahead of a cold front today. Despite the cloud cover, the high in Philadelphia soared to a balmy 77 degrees. That's 13 degrees above normal!
TONIGHT: Skies remain cloudy. A sprinkle is possible although most of the evening remains dry. We should be on or about 70 during the Eagles game tonight. Then, rain begins to move into the region overnight. The low is a very mild 66.
TUESDAY: Look for cloudy skies with periods of heavy rain through the day that could result in some isolated street flooding where the heaviest cells develop. A thunderstorm is also possible, especially east of Philadelphia. Any storm could contain damaging winds. The high is 74.
WEDNESDAY: The rain is gone and we end up with partly sunny skies and a breezy, cooler high of 66.
THURSDAY: We have a mix of clouds and sun. It's breezy and even cooler with a high of just 60.
FRIDAY: This will be the coolest morning of the week with most of us in the low to mid 40s and some spots down into the upper 30s at dawn! However, the afternoon is sunny and slightly milder with our high climbing to 68.
SATURDAY: Look for a great start to the weekend with plenty of sunshine and a nice high of 69.
SUNDAY: More clouds move in with a chance of rain arriving . The high is 63.
MONDAY: Clouds break for some sunshine. The high drops to 58.
