AccuWeather: Fresh Snow On The Ground (1-2"), Sun, Not As Harsh Today

PHILADELPHIA - TODAY: Overnight snow showers brought about 1-2" of fresh snow to much of the region. Sun returns today and while it's breezy and chilly, conditions are not as harsh as Wednesday. The high is 38.

TONIGHT: Clouds increase overnight and colder air returns. Our low is 22.

FRIDAY: It's mostly cloudy and a bit colder, with a flurry or brief snow shower possible, especially during the afternoon. Our high drops to 34.

SATURDAY: It now appears as though clouds will have a hard time breaking for the start of the weekend. We're going with a mostly cloudy sky cover and a chilly high of 40. Winds are in play, too, with an occasional gust as high as 35 mph.

SUNDAY: It's mostly cloudy again a passing rain or snow shower possible during the evening. The high is still cool: 42.

MONDAY: Clouds hang tough with only a few sunny breaks. Some wet snow showers are possible in the morning with some sleet mixing in at times. A rain shower is not out of the question during the afternoon. The high improves to 49.

TUESDAY: This is a much deserved, pleasant day. Look for a partly sunny skies with a much more pleasant high around 52.

WEDNESDAY: We have plenty of clouds rolling back into the region with a possible rain or wet snow shower around at times. The high is a cooler 44.

THURSDAY: It's partly sunny with a high of 42.
