The TSA says the Port Authority Police Department confiscated the weapon and charged Louzada with criminal possession of a weapon.
The Port Authority says Louzada is free on $1,000 bail.

Thursday when the weapon was discovered. He was identified as
48-year-old Mauro Louzada from Brazil; his hometown wasn't
released.
