A would-be bank bandit didn't get far this morning.

The Action Cam was at 15th and Market in Center City Philadelphia between 11 a.m. and noon. Police captured a bank robbery suspect just moments after he ran from a nearby Wachovia Bank branch.

Police had reportedly staked out a Sovereign Bank next door, when the suspect allegedly used a demand note to hold-up the Wachovia across the hall.

Officers chased him down and tackled him on the sidewalk. His identity has not yet been released.
