Bank robbery in Upper Merion Twp.

Detectives in Upper Merion are asking for help catching a pair of bank robbers.

The robbery happened at 3:15 Friday afternoon at the Allegiance Bank in the 100 block of Dekalb Pike.

Authorities said two black men entered the bank, showed weapons and demanded cash.

The suspects got away with an undetermined amount of money.

No one was injured.

Police want to talk to a person of interest who was captured by bank surveillance cameras prior to the robbery. Investigators believe he might be one of the robbers and might have been casing the bank.
