LEWES, Del. (AP) - January 7, 2008
Chief Deputy State Fire Marshall Randall Lee said Duane Richard
has respiratory injuries and is in critical condition. He was taken
first to Beebe Hospital and then flown to Crozer Medical Center in
Upland, Pa. for treatment in their burn unit.
Lee says Richard went into the burning trailer about 6 p.m.
Sunday to try to put the fire out. But Milton and Lewes
firefighters say the trailer was fully engulfed when they arrived.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
