Skybus Airlines says a contract has not been worked out but says an announcement is possible in the near future.
The airport has been without a commercial carrier since Delta Air Lines pulled out last year.
Skybus began operating in May and currently flies to 15 cities. A spokesman says it will add the ninth aircraft to its fleet next week and is adding a new plane a month.
The airline uses full-size jets with about 150 seats.
