You won't get much sleep in this bed
LAS VEGAS (AP) - January 10, 2008 The Starry Night Sleep Technology Bed has wireless Internet,
an iPod dock, a surround sound speaker system, LCD video projector,
dual temperature controls and even DVR capability. The company
Leggett and Platt is displaying the Starry Night at the
International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The bed also
comes with a snore detector that will help the partner of a noisy
dozer. Half of the bed is automatically elevated until the snoring
stops. But catching some Z's surrounded by also those gizmos will
cost some big bucks. The company expects the high-tech bed to sell
for $20,000 to $50,000 depending on options.
