But police allege florist Jeffrey Izard was growing plants of the potted variety. According to authorities, Izard had pot plants and growing equipment in the apartment above his Alton, Illinois, flower shop.
Investigators say they found more in a house owned by Izard across the street. Officers report they were acting on tip. Izard says he made "a foolish mistake" and he's generally a good, law-abiding citizen.
