Driver sentenced to carry victims' pictures

BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) - January 15, 2008

Twenty-seven-year-old Steven Gonzalez has pleaded guilty to numerous charges including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. He's facing a seven- to 20-year state prison sentence.

But County Judge Albert Cepparulo also ruled Monday that Gonzalez must carry photos of the wreck with him in prison and if he is paroled. And he must carry letters written by the victims' families.

Police say the van Gonzalez was driving left the road about 2 a.m. on June 15 and struck a tree. Twenty-year-old Brianna Joy Vanco and 17-year-old Renee Viscusi were thrown from the vehicle.
