Three men were attacked. One of them remained hospitalized at noon. The incident happened near the 2400 block of Kensington Avenue around 5 a.m.
Police killed the dog after it attacked at least one person who had to be taken to Temple Hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police there was a second dog, but that one ran off and still has not been found.
Police told Action News reporter Vernon Odom they don't know who owns the dogs.
