SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - January 15, 2008 The homicide fugitive task force, along with U.S. marshals, arrested 23-year-old Jamar Warren early Tuesday morning. He was inside a house on South 72nd Street in Southwest Philadelphia.

Warren is wanted for the June 2005 murder of 22-year-old Malik Simms outside a bar in Kensington.

Police say along with arresting Warren, they confiscated several guns, $11,000 and tens of thousands more in cocaine and crack.

Detectives claim Warren had also tried killing Simms a month before the murder, but missed.
