Officers say they were called Saturday night to check on an 84-year-old man who lived with his blind 53-year-old daughter.
When they arrived, they found the man, his daughter and the dog all shot and killed.
Investigators suspect the man, who had just been released from the hospital, was despondent that he couldn't take care of his daughter any longer. They speculate since they had no one else, he killed her and the dog and then killed himself.
