Toilet takes center stage at charity concert
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - January 21, 2008 Organizers at a Charlotte nightclub said they will place a
portable toilet on stage for performers during a Wednesday concert
in support of a local food pantry.
WSOC-FM program director D.J. Stout said the singers will
perform at the same time. He said he didn't want any of them
sneaking off stage while the others perform, so if anyone has to go
to the bathroom, the Porta-Jon will be right there.
They also will have a personal waitress.
The Wednesday event at Coyote Joe's will feature rising country
stars Keith Anderson, Jake Owen, Trent Tomlinson and Lee Brice.
