A mystery hole in Canada
SPRUCE GROVE, Alta. - January 22, 2008 People who live near a Canadian golf course
were wondering if a meteorite might have caused a mystery hole in
pond ice. A fireball was seen in the skies above Spruce Grove,
Alberta, last week. So, a couple of guys decided to brave the
January chill to investigate. One man (Derek Zienowicz) even went
for a scuba dive in the murky pond to look for something
extraterrestrial. But there were no little green men under the golf
course ice, just little white balls. The meteorite hunters tell the
Canadian Press they might try again in the spring.
