Federal prosecutors say 37-year-old Eric Norton of Williamsport had more than 6,000 images of child pornography on his computer.
They say he also took pictures of children that been pinned on church bulletin boards while attending funeral services.
Norton was indicted last February and pleaded guilty in October to one count of possessing child pornography. U.S. District Judge James McClure on Tuesday sentenced Norton to 6½ years in prison and a life term of supervised release.
