It happened after a fight broke out at the school at 47th and Locust streets.
Police converged just before 11 a.m.
School officials tell Action News that the fight broke out between two students in a hallway. Then a group of students got involved.
The school was quickly put under lockdown and the fight was broken up.
No injuries are reported.
School officials say the lockdown is just normal procedure.
