Woman charged with stabbing co-worker

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - January 25, 2008 It happened Thursday morning at the Linens of the Week facility on Boulden Blvd.

After the argument, managers sent both women home for the day. Police say the argument resumed after the women left the building. That's when 38-year-old Sally Staton of Wilmington allegedly stabbed her 42-year-old co-worker in the arm with a kitchen knife.

The victim was taken to the hospital to get stitches. Staton was arrested at a nearby business. She's facing charges of assault and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.
