Super prices for Super Bowl
NEW YORK (AP) - January 28, 2008 With the Super Bowl less than a week away, tickets to the
big game are setting record prices. Ticket sellers on StubHub are
asking as much as $19,000-plus for a ticket. Prices average about
$4,300 on the resellers' site. Face value of the Super Bowl tickets
are 700 or 900 bucks. Patriots fan Marcel Nadeau of Rehobeth,
Massachusetts, paid more than 29-grand for a package of three
tickets, transportation and accommodations for his two sons and
himself. He's confident of a Pats win. And if they don't, Nadeau
says his next stop is Las Vegas.
