Detectives have a rape suspect and an alleged police imposter in custody, after a standoff at a South Philadelphia home.

The standoff ended at midday with the man surrendering on the 300 block of Gladstone Street.

The 24-year-old victim says a man claiming to be an officer stopped her in Kensington around 3:30 this morning and put her in a car. She was even handcuffed.

The woman was taken to the 1700 block of South Front Street where she was raped repeatedly.

Police say after she managed to escape, the woman used her head to knock on doors for help.

After police interviewed the victim, they got an arrest warrant for the suspect and went to his house.
