2 arrested in burning car body case

DOVER, Del. (AP) - January 30, 2008 Twenty-four-year-old Dion Gibbs of Wilmington and 18-year-old Eric Dolby of New Castle are charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy and arson. Police say a tip from a concerned citizens helped investigators link the two men to the murder.

Gibbs and Dolby are charged in the death of 54-year old Nikolaos Lyristis. His body was in a Mercedez-Benz found burning on Peachtree Run.

The suspects were arrested Tuesday at separate addresses in Dover. Police say Gibbs was found with a pistol and a knife and was additionally charged with two weapons offenses.
