Stolen school buses in New Jersey

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. - January 30, 2008 According bus company owner Joe Duncan, buses were stolen between 6:00 and 9:30 p.m Tuesday night.

The buses were at the lot on the 700 block of the Black Horse Pike and were scheduled to be inspected by the state Wednesday.

The thieves gained entry by driving through a gate and knocking over a fence.

Four buses have been recovered.

One was recovered in a lot behind a Decatur Avenue School. Two were recovered at the Four Wheels Car rental agency on the Whitehorse Pike in Galloway Township, and one was found on a side street in Pleasantville, NJ.

The buses were vandalized and some windows were smashed. The bus #139 is still missing.The number can be found on the side and the rear of the bus.
