Police investigating burglaries in Bucks County

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. - February 2, 2008 Doris Pocknell can't believe that someone is stealing from homes in several housing developments along Cold Spring Creamery Road in Buckingham Township. But police are warning residents in developments like Coldspring Hunt and Hearthstone to keep their doors locked. That after at least four middle-of-the-night home invasion burglaries in the past week.

Mary Poehlein thinks her house might've been targeted if her daughter hadn't heard a noise and spotted someone in the back yard late Wednesday night. The Poehleins have a burglar alarm and keep their doors locked. But other neighbors say some people who live here have a false sense of security.

Dave Esposito says, "A lot of people came from Philadelphia, Northern New Jersey, and New York City and they live here now. And I think because it's this type of setting they think it's like the country."

Buckingham Township Police say they do have some suspects in mind.
