Current owner Dana Spain-Smith told employees that she's selling to Niche Media LLC so she can devote more time to the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. She plans to introduce chief executive Jason Binn to the staff Tuesday. Staffers were told that they're keeping their jobs.
The sale also includes the online publications DC Style and ACConfidential.com.
Binn's company frequently stages celebrity events and covers them in its publications. Binn says Philadelphia Style will do that as well.
