New round of talks in Downingtown teachers strike

A new negotiation session is scheduled for Wednesday evening in the ongoing Downingtown Area School District Strike. Teachers walked out last Tuesday. Students have also been out of class since then.

State officials say students must return by February 14 to meet the required 180-day school year by June 15.

If a deal hasn't been reached by then, the parties must enter non-binding arbitration.
