In his movie, "New Jack City: The Next Generation" Alton Coles aka Ace Capone depicts the life of a local drug kingpin. Since mid-January, federal prosecutors have been making their case that the movie is a case of art imitating life, and that Coles was running a $25-million cocaine ring out of Southwest Philadelphia and laundering money through his entertainment business.
Coles maintains he's a legitimate businessman, and is set to take the stand and tell the jury that himself.
Among the evidence the Feds have presented: $800,000 in cash, guns, cars and drugs.
