Suspicious device prompts evac at PHL

PHILADELPHIA - February 8, 2008 A suspicious device was discovered in Terminal A-East. The device was detected in a scanning machine around 6:15 this morning near the second floor baggage area.

After a precautionary evacuation of the terminal this morning, police allowed travelers back into the terminal after a brief investigation.

An airport says they don't have details on what was found or how many people were affected by the evacuation.
