According to authorities in New Castle County, Delaware, she phoned the homeowner at work, let the dog out and helped herself to a snack.
But police charge this guest wasn't invited. According officers, the homeowner received a call from Sheats-McDonald at her office.
The woman noticed on the caller ID the call was coming her own home phone number.
Police say when they got to the home, they found that Sheats-McDonald had lit candles and helped herself to cake and soda. She now faces burglary and other charges.
