Standing tall on court

Drew Lavender stands tall in a big man's game. The 5-foot-7, 160-pound, Xavier point guard is the shortest player in the Atlantic 10. The senior leads the conference in assists-to-turnover ratio and ranks 13th nationally. Being the shortest player on the court is nothing new to Lavender. He says he's been smaller than everyone else since the second or third grade. His teammates at the Cincinnati university say Lavender can do everything on the court -- everything, except dunk.
