According to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement affidavit, Amato allegedly used a credit card to access child porn Web sites on four separate occasions between September 2006 to February 2007.
On a storage device seized during a search of Amato's off-base residence last week, investigators found about 60 child porn photographs, including about 20 depicting prepubescent children engaged in sex acts with adults.
The affidavit says Amato admitted that he had accessed child porn Web sites and downloaded images to the storage device.
