The Red Cross has found temporary shelter for a Philadelphia family who had to flee an early morning house fire.
The blaze broke out about midnight on Thursday in a vacant home on the 1900 block of West Erie Avenue in Tioga-Nicetown.
Wind caused the flames to spread quickly to two other vacant homes, then to the home occupied by a family.
Everyone in the occupied house managed to get out safely.
Investigators are searching for the cause.
