A 10-year-old boy walking to school was hit around 8 a.m. There has been no word about his condition.
Police say the boy darted out into the road and was hit by the car. The driver stopped at the scene.
Then, immediately after that accident, a parked police car nearby was hit by an alleged drunk driver.
Both the officer and the driver were taken to the hospital. There's no word on the extent of their injuries.
