Lifting heavy machinery on Action News
February 15, 2008 Many of us in the newsroom have had a front-row seat to all the action: watching walls come down, dirt piles getting moved, concrete getting poured, walls going up.
And we have all dreamed about taking part in the fun job of working the cranes, diggers, bulldozers and wrecking balls. One of us got a chance to do some of that.
By the way, the project is on schedule and if that continues, a brand-new, state-of-the-art, 120,000 square foot facility should be ready by late 2009. We will not demolish our current studios; we have incorporated them in our building plans.
