Villanova beats West Virginia, 78-56

Dwayne Anderson scored 17 points, Corey Stokes added a career-high 16 and Villanova snapped a three-game losing streak against West Virginia with a 78-56 victory. Antonio Pena had 10 points and nine rebounds, and Scottie Reynolds contributed nine points for the Wildcats, who won for the 14th straight time at The Pavilion, their on-campus arena.

Villanova, which captured its second straight win overall, is 10-0 at The Pavilion this season. Villanova also plays some home games at arenas in nearby Philadelphia and has lost some home games there.

Joe Alexander and Joe Mazzulla each scored 11 points, and Da'Sean Butler added 10 for the Mountaineers, whose two-game winning streak ended.
