Day care operator charged after toddler died

HARRISBURG, Pa. - February 27, 2008 Donna Brink isn't allowed to care for children while she awaits trial in the case. She was arrested Wednesday and released on $10,000 bail.

Police say they found that Brink was caring for 10 children when the boy's head became wedged in the crib where he was napping.

The boy later died at Hershey Medical Center because of the injuries he sustained.

State regulations say home day care providers can't care for more than six children at a time.

Court officials weren't sure whether Brink has a lawyer.
