A year ago, the Flower Show adopted the theme "Legends of Ireland," providing a geographic focus and lots of live music. This year, the theme is "Jazz It Up."

It's all about New Orleans, with even more music.

Lamsback Floral Designers, which is based in a townhouse on the edge of Center City, will handle the central exhibit. You will enter the show through a huge music-themed arch and pass through a series of "Rhythm Rooms."

The Lamsbacks have done major elements before, but this is their first lead exhibit without partners.

This year's show could be closest you'll get to to Mardi Gras without buying a plane ticket.
