Police say the shooting occurred after two groups got into a dispute around 12:45 a.m. Sunday inside the First State Bowling Alley in Wilmington.
Two people started physically fighting and that's when police say a third man fired into the crowd, striking Stephon Owens once in the torso.
Police say Owens underwent emergency surgery at Christiana Hospital and later died.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses but have not yet identified the suspect.
