Cornell rallies to beat Penn, 94-92

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - March 7, 2008 The Big Red defeated the Quakers 94-92 to snap an 18-game losing streak at the Palestra and remain unbeaten in the Ivy League.

Adam Gore had 19 points and Ryan Wittman 17 for the Big Red, who set a school record for wins.

Tyler Bernardini had 25 points and Brian Grandieri 21 for the Quakers, winners of the last three Ivy titles.

Cornell, the only team already in the NCAA tournament, plays at Princeton on Saturday night hoping to complete its first-undefeated Ivy League season.
