Bad weather causes 20 crashes on I-95

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - March 9, 2008 Police say 12 of the crashes occurred in the area of Churchman's Road, and the other eight between there and the Route 141 interchange.

State police spokesman John Barnett says that made for a busy afternoon for dispatchers.

Police say people were injured in only four of the 20 accidents, and none of those injuries were life-threatening. The northbound side of the highway had to be closed for a short time while some of the accidents were cleaned up.
