Officials say the body of Dashawnta Tingle, was pulled from the pond Friday, two days after the canoe he was traveling in with a friend capsized. Neither man was wearing a life jacket, but Tingle's friend was able to swim more than 50 feet to reach shore.
Tingle's body was turned over to the medical examiner's office and autopsy results are pending.
